FindingA safety concern became a fitness-for-duty order.
Diaz-Robainas · Turkey Point, Florida · 1991–1996
- What the record describes
- A senior instrumentation and control engineer disputed safety equipment decisions. His employer ordered a psychological fitness-for-duty evaluation, then dismissed him when he refused. No examination took place. The Secretary of Labor found the order retaliatory. The technical record says the pressure transmitters were later replaced.
